Second-cycle professional study programme Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU FVM) is accredited:

•          within the Latvian national system until 4 August 2028;

•          within the EAEVE (European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education) system until November 2026. A new accreditation process in accordance with EAEVE SOP 2023 requirements is currently underway. The accreditation expert visit is scheduled for 21–25 September 2026.

The quality of studies at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is ensured in compliance with European Union and Latvian regulations, National Higher Education Standards, the LBTU operational objectives and quality assurance manual, as well as the supplementary VMF quality management manual.
