WELCOME TO Preclinical Institute at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. 

Preclinical institute   is the foundation of your veterinary education, where you will bridge the gap between basic sciences and clinical practice. It   ensures the implementation the following courses:

- Animal Anatomy: Understanding the structure and machinery of domestic animals

- Biology, Histology and Embryology: exploring tissues, cells and development under the microscope

- Physiology: Learning how animal organ systems function and regulate themselves

- Pathology: Studying tissue changes caused by diseases.

So we offer:

- Fundamental training: we teach the core sciences necessary for every veterinarian

- Hands-on-learning: Students gain practical skills in modern laboratory equipment.

- Research Excellence: we conduct cutting-edge research in veterinary morphology and physiology. Due to modern facilities our students have access to well-equipped dissection room, microscopy labs, study spaces.

Thus, the institute is the first one where students study and are being prepared to acquire further clinical skills and knowledge.

Our activity and goals also include management of scientific research of students and doctoral students, participation in projects and professional associations.
